About the role
The employer is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Broker to join their logistics team in Mohali district, India. The successful candidate will play a key role in connecting shippers with reliable carriers to ensure the smooth and timely movement of goods.
In this role, the Freight Broker will be responsible for negotiating freight rates, building and maintaining relationships with both clients and transportation providers, and managing shipments from booking through to delivery.
- Coordinate freight movements between shippers and carriers
- Negotiate competitive rates and service agreements
- Build and maintain a strong network of clients and transport partners
- Monitor shipments and resolve any issues that arise in transit
