The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the Indian logistics landscape, strong negotiation skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate end-to-end shipment logistics including booking, documentation, tracking, and timely delivery confirmation for road, rail, air, and sea freight.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing clients by providing consistent communication, proactive updates, and superior customer service.
- Monitor shipment status in real time and resolve any delays, discrepancies, or operational issues promptly to minimize disruption to client supply chains.
- Prepare and present freight quotes, rate comparisons, and customized logistics proposals tailored to individual client requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions, contracts, carrier agreements, and shipment documentation using transportation management systems (TMS).
- Stay informed about market trends, fuel surcharges, regulatory changes, and industry developments to provide clients with relevant and timely advice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in freight brokerage, freight forwarding, or a similar logistics sales role within the Indian market.
- Strong knowledge of domestic freight corridors, major Indian ports, customs regulations, and multimodal transportation networks.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with both shippers and carriers effectively.
- Proficiency in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS), CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite for daily operations and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a high-volume workload, and meet sales targets in a target-driven environment.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is required; knowledge of additional regional languages is considered a strong advantage.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary with a performance-based incentive structure and attractive commission opportunities tied to business growth.
- Comprehensive health insurance coverage for employees and immediate family members, including medical, dental, and vision benefits.
- Structured onboarding program and continuous professional development opportunities, including access to industry certifications and logistics training.
- Flexible working arrangements with hybrid work options available, promoting a healthy work-life balance for all team members.
- Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding organization with clear career progression pathways into senior brokerage, operations, or management roles.
