About the role
ChopnBlok is looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join its kitchen team at the Block Food location in Delhi. This combined role covers two essential areas of back-of-house operations: food preparation and dishwashing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients as directed by kitchen supervisors, ensuring items are ready for service in a timely and hygienic manner. Duties also include the thorough cleaning and sanitising of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain food safety standards throughout the shift.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks including chopping, portioning, and organising ingredients
- Operate dishwashing equipment and hand-wash items as required
- Keep the kitchen and washing stations clean and organised at all times
- Follow food hygiene and safety guidelines consistently
- Support the broader kitchen team during busy service periods
