About the role
ChopnBlok is looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join their kitchen team at Block Food in Delhi. The role combines two essential back-of-house functions: food preparation support and dishwashing, making it central to the smooth daily operation of the kitchen.
The successful candidate will assist in preparing ingredients and basic food items ahead of service, ensuring the kitchen team can work efficiently during busy periods. Alongside this, the role involves washing, sanitising, and organising all crockery, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Assist with ingredient preparation, chopping, and portioning as directed by kitchen staff
- Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen and dishwashing area
- Support the kitchen team during peak service hours
This position is well suited to candidates who are dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and committed to food safety and hygiene standards. Prior experience in a kitchen setting is an advantage, though not mandatory.
