About the role
ChopnBlok is looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join their kitchen team at the Block Food location in Delhi. The role combines two essential functions: supporting food preparation tasks and ensuring all dishwashing and kitchen sanitation duties are carried out efficiently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food prep work as directed by kitchen supervisors, including tasks such as chopping, portioning, and organising ingredients ahead of service. Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment is a core part of this position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Washing, sanitising, and storing dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils
- Assisting kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks
- Keeping the kitchen and prep areas clean and organised at all times
- Following food safety and hygiene standards consistently
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to candidates who are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment. Prior experience in a similar role would be an advantage, though not mandatory.
