About the role
A leading airport management organisation is seeking a dedicated Fire Fighter to strengthen its fire and rescue operations at a commercial airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to fire emergencies, aircraft incidents, and other crisis situations on and around the airfield.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding promptly to fire, rescue, and emergency calls within the airport premises
- Operating firefighting equipment, vehicles, and apparatus in accordance with established safety protocols
- Conducting regular inspections, drills, and training exercises to maintain operational readiness
- Assisting with the evacuation of passengers and staff during emergency situations
- Maintaining firefighting equipment and ensuring it is in optimal working condition at all times
Candidates should possess relevant qualifications or certifications in firefighting or fire safety, along with a sound understanding of airport emergency procedures. Prior experience in an aviation or industrial firefighting environment will be considered an advantage.
