About the role
The employer is seeking a qualified Fire Fighter to join its airport operations team in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The selected candidate will be responsible for fire prevention, suppression, and rescue activities within the airport premises.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Responding promptly to fire emergencies, accidents, and rescue situations at the airport
- Operating fire-fighting equipment, vehicles, and apparatus in accordance with established safety protocols
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of fire-fighting equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Participating in drills, training exercises, and safety awareness programmes
- Coordinating with airport operations and emergency response teams during incidents
Candidates should have relevant training or certification in fire-fighting, along with the physical fitness and composure required to perform effectively in high-pressure emergency situations. Prior experience in an airport or industrial fire service environment will be an advantage.
