Executive - Quality Assurance (Vizag)
An opportunity to join the quality assurance function at a leading paint manufacturer's Visakhapatnam facility. The role focuses on maintaining and improving product quality standards at the plant level.
About the role
This position is part of the Quality Assurance team based at the Visakhapatnam plant. The executive will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and ensuring that products meet established quality benchmarks throughout the manufacturing process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Quality Monitoring: Conducting routine and non-routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate QA records, test reports, and compliance documentation in line with standard operating procedures
- Process Improvement: Identifying deviations from quality standards and working with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to internal quality protocols as well as applicable regulatory and safety standards
The ideal candidate will have a relevant educational background in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related discipline, along with hands-on experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.
