- Mentor, guide, and support junior claims executives and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance within the team.
- Prepare and present detailed MIS reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior management, highlighting claim trends, pending cases, and settlement ratios on a regular basis.
- Liaise effectively with surveyors, third-party administrators (TPAs), hospitals, and external legal counsel to gather necessary documentation and expedite claim decisions.
- Identify process gaps and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce claim leakage, and improve overall customer satisfaction scores.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or professional insurance certification (FIII/AIII) will be considered a strong advantage.
- Minimum 4–7 years of progressive experience in claims management within the general insurance, health insurance, or life insurance sector.
- In-depth knowledge of IRDAI guidelines, insurance products, policy terms and conditions, and claims settlement procedures applicable in the Indian market.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated capacity to handle high-value and sensitive claims independently and with sound judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi, with the ability to interact confidently with customers, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Proficiency in claims management software, MS Excel, and MIS reporting tools; experience with insurance ERP platforms is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines in a target-driven environment.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation package with performance-linked incentives and annual appraisal cycles aligned with industry benchmarks.
- Comprehensive health insurance coverage for employees and their immediate family members, including medical, dental, and wellness benefits.
- Structured learning and development programs, including sponsored professional certifications, internal training workshops, and leadership development initiatives.
- A collaborative and inclusive work culture that values diversity, recognizes individual contributions, and promotes work-life balance through flexible working arrangements.
- Clear and defined career progression pathways with opportunities to advance into senior management roles within a growing and dynamic organization.
