  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as surveyors, investigators, third-party administrators, and legal counsel to gather necessary documentation and expedite claim closures.
  • Monitor claims data and generate periodic MIS reports for senior management, identifying trends, bottlenecks, and areas requiring process improvement.
  • Ensure strict adherence to turnaround time (TAT) benchmarks and service level agreements (SLAs), proactively addressing escalations and customer grievances in a professional manner.
  • Train, mentor, and guide junior claims executives to build team capability and maintain consistent quality standards across all claim handling activities.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, IRDAI guidelines, and best practices to ensure full compliance and mitigate risk exposure for the organization.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or insurance certifications such as Licentiate or Associate from the Insurance Institute of India will be an added advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 4–7 years of relevant experience in claims management within the general insurance, health insurance, or life insurance sector.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of claims assessment procedures, policy terms and conditions, and IRDAI regulatory frameworks applicable to the Indian insurance market.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex policy documents, legal reports, and financial data accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, with the ability to interact confidently with customers, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in claims management software, MS Office applications, and data reporting tools; experience with insurance ERP systems is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and a customer-first approach.

  • Health and Wellness: Comprehensive medical insurance coverage for the employee and immediate family members, including hospitalization and outpatient benefits.
  • Professional Development: Access to structured training programs, industry certifications, and leadership development initiatives to support long-term career advancement.
