About the role
The organisation is looking for a Direct Tax Analyst to be part of its tax team. The role centres on supporting end-to-end direct tax compliance and ensuring accurate, timely fulfilment of statutory obligations under applicable Indian tax laws.
The selected candidate will be expected to assist with income tax computations, preparation and filing of returns, and maintenance of tax records. The role also involves supporting tax assessments, responding to notices, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors as required.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Preparation and review of direct tax workings and filings
- Assisting in tax assessments and departmental proceedings
- Supporting advance tax and TDS compliance
- Researching tax provisions and assisting in advisory matters
Candidates with a background in direct taxation, a sound understanding of the Income Tax Act, and experience in a corporate tax or professional services environment are encouraged to apply.
