About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers and supervisors in day-to-day technical and operational activities across assigned departments or project sites.
• Participate actively in the structured training program, completing all assigned modules, assessments, and on-the-job learning milestones within the defined timeline.
• Support the inspection, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and plant infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations and adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, including daily logs, maintenance records, inspection reports, and work orders as directed by supervisors.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or safety hazards to the concerned authority in a timely and responsible manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production targets, quality benchmarks, and efficiency improvement initiatives within the plant or project environment.
• Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines, company policies, and statutory regulations applicable to the work area at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and suggest practical solutions to operational challenges based on observations made during the training period.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related discipline) from a recognized polytechnic or technical institute recognized by a State Board of Technical Education.
• Minimum aggregate score of 60% or above in the final diploma examination (relaxation may be applicable for reserved category candidates as per company policy).
• Freshers or candidates with up to one year of experience are eligible to apply; prior internship or apprenticeship experience in a relevant industry will be considered an advantage.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office; familiarity with industry-specific software or AutoCAD will be an added benefit.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Good communication skills in English and the regional language, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to shift-based work schedules.
• Must be willing to relocate or work at any plant, site, or office location as assigned by the management during or after the training period.
