About the Role

As a Diploma Engineer Trainee, you will undergo a structured training program that combines hands-on practical experience with theoretical knowledge, preparing you to take on independent responsibilities within our engineering operations. You will work closely with senior engineers and department heads, gaining exposure to real-world industrial processes, quality standards, and operational best practices across various functions of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in day-to-day operations, maintenance activities, and technical tasks across assigned departments or production units.
• Monitor and inspect machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, reports, work orders, and maintenance logs as required.
• Participate actively in planned and preventive maintenance schedules, identifying potential issues and escalating them to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and procurement to support smooth workflow and resolve technical challenges.
• Adhere strictly to all workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines and company policies at all times during the training period and beyond.
• Engage in continuous learning by attending training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job modules as part of the structured DET program.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting practical, cost-effective solutions under the guidance of supervisors.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering from a recognized polytechnic or technical institute in disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, or related fields.
• Academic Performance: Minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA throughout the diploma program from a recognized State or Central Board.
• Experience: Freshers are welcome to apply; however, candidates with up to one year of internship or industrial training experience will be given preference.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings, and familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment relevant to the applied discipline.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English and the regional language, both verbally and in writing, to coordinate with team members and report to supervisors.
• Attitude and Aptitude: Strong willingness to learn, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, fast-paced industrial environment.
• Age Criteria: Candidates should generally be between 18 to 25 years of age at the time of application, as per company policy and applicable labor regulations.
