About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in day-to-day operations, maintenance, and execution of engineering tasks across assigned departments or project sites.
• Participate actively in the structured training program, including classroom sessions, on-the-job training, and periodic assessments to build technical competency.
• Support the inspection, testing, and quality checking of equipment, machinery, components, or systems as per defined standards and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, daily work reports, maintenance logs, and other records as required by the department.
• Assist in identifying operational issues, troubleshooting equipment faults, and implementing corrective actions under the supervision of senior technical staff.
• Follow all safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance guidelines to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, procurement, and project management to support seamless workflow and timely delivery of tasks.
• Continuously update technical knowledge by engaging with training materials, industry best practices, and mentorship programs offered by the organization.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering from a recognized polytechnic institute in disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related fields.
• Academic Performance: Minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) throughout the diploma program from a recognized State or Central Board.
• Experience: Freshers are encouraged to apply; however, candidates with up to 1 year of internship or apprenticeship experience in a relevant industry will be given preference.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings, and familiarity with tools, equipment, and software relevant to the applied discipline.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English and/or the regional language, with the ability to document work clearly and accurately.
• Personal Attributes: Strong willingness to learn, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, problem-solving attitude, and adaptability to dynamic work conditions.
• Age Criteria: Candidates should generally be between 18 to 25 years of age at the time of application, as per company policy and applicable government norms.
