Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in day-to-day technical operations, maintenance activities, and project execution across assigned departments or plant areas.
• Monitor and inspect machinery, equipment, and production systems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, maintenance logs, and documentation related to equipment performance and operational data.
• Participate actively in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities, identifying root causes of failures and recommending corrective measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and procurement to support ongoing projects and operational improvements.
• Follow all safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines while performing assigned tasks on the shop floor or project site.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in existing processes and suggesting practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Undergo periodic assessments, training sessions, and evaluations as part of the structured trainee development program to build technical competency.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering from a recognized polytechnic institute or technical board, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum aggregate score of 60% or above in the diploma program; candidates with higher academic performance will be given preference.
• Freshers are welcome to apply; however, candidates with up to 1 year of internship or industrial training experience will be considered an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of fundamental engineering concepts relevant to the chosen discipline, along with basic knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
• Good communication skills in English and the regional language, with the ability to comprehend technical manuals, drawings, and instructions.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, travel to project sites, or relocate as per organizational requirements.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office; familiarity with engineering software or ERP systems will be an added benefit.
