About the role
This is a hands-on technical role responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of critical environment systems within a large-scale data centre or enterprise facility. The technician will ensure that essential infrastructure remains reliable, safe, and fully operational at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and maintaining critical mechanical and electrical systems such as power distribution, cooling, and fire suppression equipment
- Performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and ensure system integrity
- Responding promptly to alarms and incidents, following established standard operating procedures
- Coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to schedule and oversee maintenance activities
- Maintaining accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance logs, and incident reports
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in facilities engineering or critical environment operations, with practical experience managing high-availability infrastructure.
