This position is for a Critical Environment Technician responsible for the hands-on operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical facility infrastructure. The role supports the reliable functioning of essential building and data centre systems to ensure continuous uptime and operational integrity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and maintaining critical environment systems such as power, cooling, and mechanical infrastructure
- Performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility equipment
- Responding promptly to alarms, incidents, and escalations to minimise disruption to operations
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, incidents, and equipment performance
- Collaborating with engineering and facilities teams to support safe and efficient operations
Candidates are expected to have a solid technical background in facilities management, electrical or mechanical systems, or a related discipline. Strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced critical environment, and adherence to safety protocols are essential qualities for this role.
