This role is for a Critical Environment Technician responsible for the hands-on operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical facility infrastructure. The technician ensures the reliability and continuity of systems that support data centre or enterprise-grade environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and maintaining critical mechanical, electrical, and related building systems
- Performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and operational checks
- Responding promptly to alarms, incidents, and equipment anomalies to minimise downtime
- Following established safety protocols and standard operating procedures for critical environments
- Coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for maintenance and repair activities
