About the role
This role is responsible for the hands-on operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical environment systems that support large-scale data centre or enterprise infrastructure. The technician ensures that all mechanical, electrical, and related critical systems function reliably and within defined operational parameters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and operational checks on critical environment equipment
- Monitoring building management and infrastructure systems to detect and respond to anomalies or alarms
- Supporting incident response activities and coordinating with vendors and engineering teams during maintenance windows
- Maintaining accurate records of work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment performance data
- Adhering to safety protocols, change-management procedures, and compliance requirements specific to critical environments
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with critical facilities equipment — such as UPS systems, generators, HVAC, or power distribution units — along with a strong understanding of safety standards and the ability to work effectively in a 24/7 operational environment.
