This position is for a Critical Environment Technician responsible for the hands-on operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical facility infrastructure. The role sits within a large-scale data centre or technology campus environment and requires a strong focus on uptime, safety, and operational excellence.
The technician will be expected to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical systems including electrical, mechanical, and cooling infrastructure. Responding promptly to alarms and system anomalies to minimise risk and downtime will be a core part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
- Monitor and maintain critical environment systems to ensure continuous, reliable operation
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and document findings accurately
- Respond to and resolve equipment alarms, faults, and emergencies in a timely manner
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on maintenance and upgrade activities
