About the role
This position is responsible for the hands-on operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical environment systems that support large-scale data centre and technology infrastructure. The technician ensures the reliability, safety, and continuous uptime of essential mechanical, electrical, and related building systems.
Key responsibilities include performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical systems, as well as responding promptly to alarms and incidents to minimise disruption to operations.
- Monitor and maintain critical environment infrastructure including power, cooling, and related systems
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and document findings accurately
- Respond to and resolve equipment alarms, faults, and emergency situations
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Maintain detailed records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities
