Microsoft is seeking a Critical Environment Technician to join its operations team in Hyderabad, Telangana. The role is focused on ensuring the reliability and continuity of critical facility systems that support large-scale data centre operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the hands-on operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical environment infrastructure. This includes electrical, mechanical, and other building systems essential to uninterrupted data centre performance.
- Monitor and maintain critical facility systems including power, cooling, and related infrastructure
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and equipment anomalies in a timely and effective manner
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with established procedures
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to support safe and efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, incidents, and equipment status
