This position is for a Critical Environment Technician responsible for the hands-on operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical facility infrastructure. The role sits within a large-scale data centre or technology campus environment and requires a strong commitment to uptime, safety, and operational excellence.
The technician will be expected to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and real-time troubleshooting of critical systems including electrical, mechanical, and cooling infrastructure. Accurate documentation of all work performed and adherence to established operating procedures are core expectations of the role.
- Monitor and maintain critical environment systems to ensure continuous, reliable operation
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and respond promptly to alarms or incidents
- Follow and enforce safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and incidents
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams as required
Candidates should possess relevant technical qualifications or hands-on experience in facilities engineering, electrical or mechanical systems, or a related discipline. Prior exposure to data centre or mission-critical environments will be an advantage.
