About the role
The employer is looking for a skilled Credit Analyst to join its SME Institutional Credit team in Delhi. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, analysing financial statements, and supporting sound lending decisions within the SME institutional segment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough credit appraisals and risk assessments for SME institutional clients
- Analysing financial data, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to evaluate borrower profiles
- Preparing detailed credit notes and recommendations for approval
- Monitoring existing credit exposures and flagging potential risks in a timely manner
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders such as sales, risk, and operations teams to ensure smooth credit processing
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in credit analysis, a sound understanding of SME lending norms, and the ability to work in a fast-paced financial services environment. Prior experience in institutional or commercial credit appraisal will be an advantage.
