About the role
The employer is looking for a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join its SME Institutional Credit team in Delhi. The selected candidate will be responsible for analysing credit proposals from small and medium enterprises, assessing financial risk, and supporting sound lending decisions.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Evaluating credit applications and financial statements of SME borrowers
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and due diligence on institutional clients
- Preparing credit appraisal notes and recommendations for approval
- Monitoring the health of the existing credit portfolio and flagging early warning signals
- Ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in credit underwriting, financial analysis, and an understanding of the SME lending landscape. Prior experience in a similar credit analyst or underwriting role within a financial services organisation will be an advantage.
