About the role
The employer is looking for a skilled Credit Analyst to join its SME Institutional Credit team in Delhi. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, analysing financial data, and supporting lending decisions for small and medium enterprise (SME) clients within an institutional framework.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough credit appraisals and risk assessments for SME institutional clients
- Analysing financial statements, cash flows, and business models to determine credit viability
- Preparing detailed credit notes and recommendations for approval
- Monitoring existing credit portfolios and flagging potential risks
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing of credit proposals
The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in credit analysis, financial modelling, and risk evaluation, along with a good understanding of SME lending practices. Prior experience in institutional or commercial credit will be an advantage.
