Credit Analyst – SME Institutional Credit

About the role
The employer is looking for a Credit Analyst to join its SME Institutional Credit team in Delhi. The incumbent will be responsible for assessing credit proposals, conducting financial analysis, and supporting lending decisions for small and medium enterprise clients in the institutional segment.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Analysing financial statements, credit profiles, and risk parameters of SME institutional borrowers
- Preparing detailed credit appraisal notes and recommendations for approval
- Monitoring existing credit exposures and flagging early warning signals
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders such as relationship managers, risk teams, and compliance functions
Candidates should possess a strong understanding of credit underwriting principles, SME lending norms, and relevant regulatory guidelines. Prior experience in a credit analysis or corporate/SME lending role within a bank, NBFC, or financial institution will be an advantage.
