The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving vendor quality processes across the supply chain.
In this position, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating vendor quality activities, ensuring that supplier standards align with the organisation's quality requirements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role demands strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and quality assurance teams.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Monitoring and evaluating vendor quality performance against established benchmarks
- Coordinating audits, inspections, and assessments of supplier facilities and processes
- Maintaining accurate documentation related to vendor quality compliance
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve quality issues promptly
- Supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans
