We are looking for a passionate and driven Community Manager to join our growing team in India. In this role, you will serve as the primary voice and advocate for our brand across digital and offline communities. You will be responsible for building meaningful relationships with our audience, nurturing an engaged and loyal community, and acting as the critical bridge between our customers and internal teams. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive community strategy aligned with overall brand goals and marketing objectives across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Discord, and regional forums.
- Monitor, moderate, and actively engage with community members across all social media channels, ensuring timely, thoughtful, and on-brand responses to comments, messages, and discussions.
- Plan and manage online and offline community events, webinars, meetups, and campaigns to drive engagement, brand awareness, and member retention.
- Collaborate closely with the content, product, and customer support teams to relay community feedback, surface user insights, and help shape product and communication decisions.
- Identify, onboard, and manage brand advocates, influencers, and community ambassadors to amplify reach and foster authentic peer-to-peer engagement.
- Track, analyze, and report on community health metrics including growth rate, engagement levels, sentiment, and retention, providing actionable recommendations based on data.
- Create compelling community-focused content such as newsletters, discussion prompts, announcements, and success stories that resonate with diverse Indian audiences.
- Handle sensitive community issues, escalations, and crisis communication with professionalism, empathy, and swift resolution to maintain a safe and positive community environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field with 2–5 years of experience in community management, social media, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience managing active online communities on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Telegram, or Discord, preferably within a startup or consumer-facing brand environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi or any regional Indian language is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience using community and social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or native platform analytics dashboards.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
- Deep understanding of Indian digital culture, social media trends, and audience behavior across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
- Experience in crisis management, conflict resolution, and maintaining positive community sentiment during challenging situations is highly desirable.
