SMEC, a member of the SJ Group, is seeking a skilled CAD Operator to join its team in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining accurate technical drawings and design documentation in support of the organisation's engineering and infrastructure projects.
The role requires proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of drafting standards and conventions. The CAD Operator will collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings are delivered to the required specifications and within agreed timelines.
- Prepare and revise technical drawings using CAD tools
- Maintain organised and up-to-date drawing registers and document files
- Coordinate with engineering and design teams to incorporate review comments
- Ensure all outputs comply with relevant drafting standards and project requirements
