About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Designer I to join our growing engineering team in India. In this entry-level position, you will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to develop accurate technical drawings, 2D layouts, and 3D models that support product development and manufacturing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate design professional to build a strong foundation in computer-aided design while contributing to meaningful projects across diverse industries. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and committed to delivering precise, high-quality design outputs within established timelines.
Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to translate conceptual designs into accurate and functional technical drawings.
- Maintain and organize drawing libraries, design files, and documentation in accordance with company standards and version control procedures.
- Perform routine design checks and quality reviews to ensure drawings meet dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and applicable industry standards.
- Assist in the preparation of bill of materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation to support production teams.
- Incorporate design modifications and engineering change orders (ECOs) promptly and accurately into existing drawing sets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless integration of components within larger assemblies.
- Stay updated on the latest CAD tools, techniques, and industry best practices to continuously improve design efficiency and output quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in one or more CAD software platforms such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Revit, or equivalent tools.
- 0–2 years of professional or internship experience in CAD design, drafting, or a related engineering support role.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), engineering drawing standards, and technical documentation practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and design-for-manufacturability (DFM) principles is an added advantage.
Benefits
- Competitive salary package aligned with industry standards, along with performance-based annual increments and incentives.
- Access to professional development programs, technical training, and sponsored certifications to accelerate your career growth in CAD and engineering design.
- Comprehensive health insurance coverage for employees and immediate family members, including medical, dental, and vision benefits.
- A collaborative and inclusive work culture that values innovation, continuous learning, and employee well-being, with flexible working arrangements where applicable.
- Paid annual leave, public holidays, and employee wellness initiatives designed to support a healthy work-life balance throughout the year.
