About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Designer I to join our growing engineering and design team in India. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA based on project specifications and engineering requirements.
• Interpret and translate engineering sketches, concepts, and verbal instructions into detailed technical drawings and design documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure design intent is accurately captured and communicated throughout the project lifecycle.
• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes, client feedback, or engineering modifications in a timely and organized manner.
• Maintain a well-organized digital library of drawings, design files, and related documentation in accordance with company standards and version control procedures.
• Perform basic design checks and reviews to identify errors, inconsistencies, or areas requiring clarification before submission to senior team members.
• Support the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and fabrication documents required for manufacturing or construction purposes.
• Adhere to relevant industry standards, codes, and internal quality guidelines to ensure all design outputs meet required specifications and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
• Proficiency in one or more CAD software platforms such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Revit, or equivalent tools is essential.
• 0–2 years of professional or internship experience in a CAD design or drafting role; fresh graduates with strong academic project portfolios are encouraged to apply.
• Solid understanding of engineering drawing standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and drafting conventions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a team setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic project documentation tools is preferred.
