The employer is looking for a qualified Biomedical Engineer to join their team at a specialist hospital in Kochi, Kerala. This role is central to ensuring that medical devices and equipment function safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of biomedical equipment used across clinical departments. They will work closely with medical and technical staff to minimise equipment downtime and uphold patient safety.
- Maintain and service a wide range of biomedical and clinical equipment
- Perform routine inspections, calibrations, and safety checks
- Coordinate with vendors and service teams for repairs and spare parts
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital safety standards
Candidates with a relevant degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline and prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting are encouraged to apply.
