Associate Researcher

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and executing research projects, including defining objectives, methodologies, and data collection strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews, competitive analyses, and secondary research to support ongoing and new research initiatives.
• Collect, clean, and organize quantitative and qualitative data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the process.
• Analyze research data using statistical tools and software, identifying key trends, patterns, and actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare clear and concise research reports, presentations, and summaries that effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with senior researchers and team leads to refine research questions, review findings, and contribute to the development of recommendations and strategic outputs.
• Maintain organized documentation of research processes, datasets, and findings to ensure reproducibility and knowledge continuity within the team.
• Stay current with emerging research trends, industry developments, and best practices to continuously improve the quality and relevance of research outputs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Economics, Life Sciences, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in a research, analytical, or academic role; internship experience in a research setting will be considered favorably.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SPSS, R, or Python, with a strong understanding of basic statistical concepts and research methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, structured, and engaging manner.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically, ask the right questions, and approach problems with a structured and analytical mindset.
• Familiarity with research databases, academic journals, and online information platforms is an added advantage.
