Associate Researcher

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, planning, and execution of research projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Conduct thorough literature reviews, synthesize existing research findings, and identify gaps in current knowledge to inform new studies.
• Collect, clean, and organize both qualitative and quantitative data from primary and secondary sources with a high degree of accuracy.
• Apply statistical and analytical methods to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights using tools such as SPSS, R, Python, or Excel.
• Prepare well-structured research reports, summaries, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders and external audiences.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, policy, and strategy departments to support research-driven decision-making.
• Maintain organized records of research activities, datasets, and findings in compliance with institutional and ethical guidelines.
• Stay current with the latest developments, methodologies, and best practices in relevant research domains and contribute fresh perspectives to ongoing projects.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Economics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of research experience, including academic research, internships, or project-based work in a professional setting.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly.
• Proficiency in at least one data analysis or statistical tool such as Python, R, STATA, SPSS, or advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare concise and compelling research documents and presentations.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within defined deadlines.
• Familiarity with research ethics, data privacy standards, and responsible research practices is considered an advantage.
