Associate Researcher

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Researcher to join our growing research team based in India. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and execution of research studies, including qualitative and quantitative methodologies, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews, synthesizing existing research to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities relevant to ongoing projects.
• Collect, clean, and analyze data using statistical tools and software, presenting findings in a clear and structured manner for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed research reports, summaries, presentations, and white papers that communicate findings accurately and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Support the development of research proposals, including drafting methodology sections, defining scope, and outlining resource requirements.
• Coordinate with external partners, academic institutions, and vendors to facilitate data collection, interviews, surveys, and field research activities.
• Maintain organized research databases, documentation, and filing systems to ensure accessibility and integrity of research materials.
• Stay current with emerging trends, publications, and developments in relevant fields, proactively sharing knowledge with the broader team.

Requirements

• Educational Background: A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Economics, Public Policy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
• Experience: One to three years of demonstrated experience in a research role, either in an academic, corporate, think tank, or consulting environment.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SPSS, R, Python, or Excel, along with a strong understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to varied audiences.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, thoroughness, and intellectual integrity.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing constructively while also being capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with research management platforms, reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero, and Microsoft Office Suite.
