We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team in India. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across various business functions. You will work closely with senior recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a smooth, efficient, and candidate-friendly hiring experience from start to finish.
As an Associate Recruiter, you will manage end-to-end recruitment activities including sourcing candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, and employee referrals, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate pipelines. This position is based out of our India office and will primarily support hiring across technology, operations, and business support functions. You will be expected to meet defined hiring targets while maintaining a high standard of candidate experience and data integrity within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including job posting, sourcing, screening, scheduling, and offer coordination for entry-level to mid-level roles across departments.
- Source qualified candidates proactively using platforms such as Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Shine, and internal employee referral programs.
- Conduct initial telephonic and video screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and compensation expectations.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring timely communication and a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data hygiene and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with senior recruiters and HR Business Partners to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and hiring priorities.
- Track and report key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and pipeline conversion rates on a weekly basis.
- Support employer branding initiatives including participation in campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and social media hiring campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field from a recognized Indian university.
- 0–2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR operations; internship experience in a recruiting function will be considered.
- Hands-on familiarity with Indian job portals such as Naukri.com, LinkedIn, and Monster India for sourcing and candidate outreach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi or a regional language is an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Basic understanding of labour laws and hiring compliance practices applicable in India.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfort working with ATS platforms such as Workday, Greenhouse, or Zoho Recruit.
