A leading airport operations organisation is looking for a dedicated Associate Officer – ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) to join its team at Mangaluru International Airport, Karnataka. The position plays a critical role in maintaining airside safety standards and ensuring rapid, effective emergency response at the airport.
The selected candidate will be responsible for firefighting and rescue operations on the airfield, responding to aircraft emergencies, and supporting day-to-day fire station activities in compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
- Conduct aircraft rescue and firefighting operations as per established protocols
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of ARFF vehicles and equipment
- Participate in emergency drills, training exercises, and safety audits
- Coordinate with air traffic control and other airport departments during incidents
- Maintain accurate records of all emergency responses and equipment inspections
