We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Sales & Operations to join our growing team in India. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets across assigned territories or product lines.
- Monitor day-to-day operational workflows to identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and ensure timely delivery of products or services to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Analyze sales data, operational metrics, and market trends to generate actionable insights and present performance reports to senior management on a regular basis.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with logistics, finance, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between sales commitments and operational capabilities.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives and operations associates, conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback for professional development.
- Manage inventory levels, demand forecasting, and supply chain coordination to minimize disruptions and maintain optimal stock availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards across all sales and operational activities.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Operations Management, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- Experience: 3–6 years of progressive experience in sales and/or operations roles, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets while simultaneously managing operational responsibilities in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Zoho CRM.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Hindi; proficiency in a regional language is an added advantage.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required to meet clients, conduct field visits, and oversee operational activities.
