We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Sales & Operations to join our growing team in India. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets across assigned territories or product lines.
- Monitor day-to-day operational workflows to ensure efficiency, quality compliance, and timely delivery of products or services to clients and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, channel partners, and vendors, acting as a primary point of contact for escalations and issue resolution.
- Analyze sales data, operational metrics, and market trends to generate actionable insights and present regular performance reports to senior leadership.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales executives and operations staff, conducting performance reviews and identifying training and development needs.
- Coordinate with internal departments including marketing, logistics, finance, and customer service to ensure seamless end-to-end business operations.
- Support the implementation of CRM systems, sales tools, and operational software to improve productivity and data accuracy across the team.
- Identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals, and assist in negotiating contracts and agreements in alignment with company policies.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales and operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing operational KPIs in a competitive business environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Zoho is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required by business needs.
