This role is an Assistant Manager – Buying & Merchandising position based in Pune, Maharashtra. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving category growth through strategic product selection, assortment planning, and effective vendor management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end buying and merchandising activities for assigned categories
- Building and maintaining strong vendor and supplier relationships
- Analysing sales trends and category performance to optimise product assortment
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, logistics, and operations to ensure seamless product availability
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a sound understanding of retail or e-commerce merchandising principles, and proven experience in buying or category management.
