A prominent engineering and construction organisation is looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional to join its Business Development team in Chennai as an Assistant Manager – Estimation. The role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy and technical analysis, requiring the candidate to support the organisation's growth objectives through accurate and competitive project estimation.
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing cost estimates for projects, analysing tender documents, and contributing to bid submissions. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams — including engineering, procurement, and finance — will be essential to ensure estimates are comprehensive, realistic, and aligned with business targets.
- Preparation of detailed project cost estimates and bid documents
- Analysis of tender specifications, drawings, and scope of work
- Coordination with internal departments to gather inputs for estimation
