About the role
A prominent financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Area Sales Head to lead its SME credit card business in the Delhi region. This is a senior field-sales leadership role within the Tier 1 market segment, requiring a candidate who can own area-level targets and translate strategy into on-ground execution.
The incumbent will be responsible for driving credit card acquisition and revenue growth among small and medium enterprises, managing distributor and channel partner relationships, and ensuring consistent pipeline development across the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of sales professionals to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
- Developing and executing area-specific sales plans for the SME credit card product
- Building strong relationships with key SME clients and channel partners in Delhi
- Monitoring team performance, providing coaching, and ensuring adherence to compliance and process standards
