The ideal candidate thrives in a competitive environment and has a proven ability to convert prospects into long-term clients.
Whether you come from an FMCG, pharmaceutical, industrial, or B2B sales background, your ability to understand customer needs, negotiate effectively, and close deals will be the cornerstone of your success in this position. This role offers significant career advancement opportunities for high performers within our national sales structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory by actively pursuing new business and retaining existing accounts.
- Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, retailers, and channel partners to strengthen the distribution network across the area.
- Conduct regular market visits, client meetings, and product demonstrations to build brand awareness and drive product adoption.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments, and report actionable insights to the regional sales team.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly sales reports, visit reports, and pipeline updates using the company's CRM system.
- Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve any delivery or stock-related issues promptly.
- Execute promotional campaigns, trade schemes, and seasonal offers at the ground level to drive volume and increase market share.
- Collect outstanding payments, manage credit limits, and ensure healthy debtor management within the assigned territory.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field; MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 1–4 years of field sales experience, preferably in FMCG, pharma, consumer goods, or B2B sectors.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Zoho CRM.
- Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving licence and be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Fluency in the local regional language along with working knowledge of Hindi and English is highly desirable.
Benefits
- Competitive fixed CTC with an attractive performance-linked incentive structure and quarterly bonus payouts.
- Travel allowance, mobile reimbursement, and daily field expenses covered as per company policy.
- Comprehensive health insurance coverage for the employee and immediate family members.
- Structured onboarding, ongoing product training, and clear internal promotion pathways to Senior Executive and Territory Manager roles.
- Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity, and other statutory benefits as per Indian labour law compliance.
