Area Manager - Ahmedabad

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Manager to lead and oversee our operations across the Ahmedabad region. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving business growth, managing a distributed team, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, people management, and commercial acumen to deliver consistent performance against key business objectives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all regional activities, working closely with senior leadership to align local execution with the company's broader vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all assigned locations within the Ahmedabad area, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high service standards are consistently maintained.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of store managers, supervisors, and frontline staff to build a high-performing, motivated, and customer-focused workforce.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability by identifying new business opportunities, monitoring sales performance, and implementing targeted action plans to meet and exceed targets.
• Conduct regular site visits and performance reviews to assess operational health, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, local partners, vendors, and government authorities to support smooth regional operations.
• Analyze regional market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local statutory requirements across all operational sites within the region.
• Manage regional budgets, control operational costs, and prepare detailed performance reports for submission to the senior leadership team on a regular basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in operations, sales, or retail management, with at least 2 years in a multi-location or area management capacity.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business targets within a fast-paced, competitive environment, preferably within the Ahmedabad or broader Gujarat market.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to manage, inspire, and develop large, geographically dispersed teams effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in using data and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Gujarati; proficiency in Hindi is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region and adaptability to work in a dynamic, target-driven business environment.
