About the role
The employer is looking for an experienced Area Credit Manager – Prime to join its credit operations team in Delhi. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing credit appraisal, underwriting, and risk evaluation for the Prime segment within the assigned area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough credit assessments and appraisals for loan applications within the Prime segment
- Ensuring adherence to credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with sales and operations teams to maintain portfolio quality and manage turnaround times
- Identifying and mitigating credit risks to maintain a healthy and performing loan book
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in credit underwriting or risk management within the financial services sector, along with sound analytical and decision-making skills. Prior experience handling Prime or retail credit portfolios will be an advantage.
