Airport Security Screener – In-Line Hold Baggage Screening (ILHBS)

The Screener – ILHBS is responsible for conducting security screening of hold baggage using in-line baggage screening equipment in compliance with applicable aviation security regulations and protocols.

Key responsibilities include:

• Baggage Screening: Operating ILHBS equipment to detect prohibited or dangerous items in passenger hold baggage.
• Security Compliance: Adhering strictly to BCAS guidelines and airport security standard operating procedures at all times.
• Threat Assessment: Identifying and escalating suspicious items or anomalies detected during the screening process.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate logs and records related to screening activities as required.

Candidates are expected to demonstrate alertness, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based airport environment while upholding the highest standards of aviation security.
