(Website: www.nal.res.in)Walk in interview on 7 July 2011CSIR Centre for Mathematical Modelling and Computer Simulation (C-MMACS), Bangalore desires to engage qualified Candidates for filling up of 23 Posts of Project Assistants on purely Temporary basis on contract under various Network Projects at C-MMACS, Bangalore.
The minimum educational qualifications, experience, remuneration and age limit prescribed for engagement of Project Assistants on Contract area as under:

1. Name of the Post Level: Project Assistant Level - II 
   No. of Posts: 12 
   Minimum Educational Qualifications & Experience: First Class M. Sc./ MA / BE / B. Tech / MCA in Electronics & Communications / Atmospheric Science / Oceanography / Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Social Science / Computer Science OR equivalent qualificationDesirable:
   
   1. I Class M.Sc. with Specialization / Project / Course on Fluid Dynamics OR Numerical Analysis OR Atmospheric Physics OROceanography & Knowledge in Computer Programming;
   2. I Class BE / B.Tech / MCA with experience in software development, knowledge of Differential equations and numerical analysis, data analysis.
   Consolidated emoluments per month: Rs. 12000/-
   Age limit as on 7 July 2011: 28 years
2. Name of the Post Level: Project Assistant Level - III 
   No. of Posts: 7 
   Minimum Educational Qualifications & Experience: First Class M.Sc. / BE / B. Tech or equivalent qualifications plus 2 years relevant experience 
   Or 
   ME / M.Tech In Atmospheric Science / Oceanography / Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Geophysics* / Marine Geophysics* / Computational Seismology*Desirable: 
   Working knowledge in Atmospheric Science or Oceanography or Climate Science or equivalent areas and experience in computer programming in relevant working area.
   
   • Knowledge in seismological data processing using SAC / SEISAN, Knowledge in Strong Motion data analysis, attenuations laws, Seismic hazard and risk studies, crustal and Mantle structure.
   Consolidated emoluments per month: Rs. 14000/-
   Age limit as on 7 July 2011: 32 Years
3. Name of the Post Level: Project Assistant Level - IV 
   No. of Posts: 4 
   Minimum Educational Qualifications & Experience: Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science / Physics / Mathematics / Statistics.Desirable:
   
   1. Experience in Computer Programming and Mathematical Modeling
   Consolidated emoluments per month: Rs. 20000/-
   Age limit as on 7 July 2011: 35 years.

General: The above positions are purely Temporary and on Contract basis for the duration of the Project. The contract may be terminated at any time by giving one-month's notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any CSIR / C - MMACS post.
Reservation: As regards reservation, if all things are equal, SC/ ST/ OBC candidates may be given preference over general candidates so as to ensure their representation.
Interview: The Interview will be held on Thursday, 7 July 2011 from 9.30 am onwards at the Committee Room, Committee Complex, CSIR - National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Post Box No. 1779, HAL Airport Road (Opposite Manipal Hospital), Kodihalli, Bangalore - 560 017
Depending on the number of candidates appearing for Walk-in-interview, interviews may also be continued on Friday, 8 July 2011 from 9.30 am onwards, if required, and the candidates are advised to be prepared for such an eventuality.
Eligible candidates may appear with duly filled-in downloaded Application Form (From NAL Website: www.nal.res.in) and be present for walk-in-interview on 7 July 2011 between 9.00 am and 10.00 am (Candidates coming after 10.00 am will not be entertained nor interviewed under any circumstances) along with latest passport size photograph, original and attested copies of all certificates in respect of Date of birth, Qualifications, Experience and Community Certificate etc. in the prescribed format issued by the Appropriate Authority as per the latest instructions issued from time to time on the subject. Candidates should also bring copies of Reprints / Reports published by them; these will be returned after the interview. Engagement of Project Assistants shall be as per CSIR Guidelines.
No TA/ DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
